Your Board of Directors and dedicated Maintenance Committee volunteers have had a busy summer so far. Since the ice came out at the end of March, club volunteers have poured hundreds of hours into administration and facilities maintenance to be ready for the upcoming season.

Our summer maintenance projects include replacing all the boards around ice level, ice plant compressor replacement, ice shed structure inspection, new cafe flooring, outdoor stairwell upgrades, and painting painting painting.

Other important summer work includes the new website, restructuring our dues schedule, and ongoing work on our strategic plan and long-term financial sustainability plan.

So, are you wondering what you can do to help us get ready for the next curling season?

  • Regularly check this News page and our Facebook page for calls for volunteers at the end of August and into September. We will need extra hands to help with exterior and interior painting, interior clean up, and other small projects.

  • Check this page for updates on Online Registration (via Curling IO) and changes to the 2026-27 dues schedule

  • Get in touch - info@crcurling.ca if you have special skills to offer in the areas of: gas fitting, plumbing, exterior painting, IT
