The Board is thankful and proud to recognize the dedicated efforts of Larry, Joe, Bob, and Ian over the past few months. This summer our volunteer maintenance committee has put in hundreds of hours, literally over 380 hours, taking care of some much needed work around the club. For context, 380 hours = 47.5 full-time work days = 9.5 weeks of work. Wow!

This summer their projects have included:

repairing sunken areas of the sand base
replacing and painting all perimeter boards in the ice shed
repair and painting the exterior stairs, entry ways
facilitating concession floor replacement
overseeing the new ice plant compressor installation
coordinating a professional assessment of the ice shed support beams

We are not here today without the contributions of our volunteers. Volunteers are the fuel that keeps our club going. In addition to their skills and time, long-time volunteers like Larry and Joe provide the club with an enormous amount of knowledge on the operations, history, and ongoing needs of our facility.

When you see these incredible guys around the club, please give your thanks and show your appreciation.
