Junior curling is open to curlers of all abilities aged 7-18. Coaching and instruction is provided each week. Practices will consist of drills focusing on different aspects of the game. With each practice ending in a mini game to apply those skills. If they choose, curlers will have the option to attend one day out of town events in Nanaimo, Parksville, Qualicum Beach and Courtenay.

Brooms, sliders and shoes (in some sizes) provided. Curlers are to bring their own Helmet, CLEAN SHOES (not the shoes worn to the curling club, but another set of shoes), warm clothes, and gloves if desired.

We welcome all juniors to try for no charge for the first week.

Parents/Guardians - please create a Curling IO profile on behalf of your Junior Curler.

This is a 4-end league for brand new, beginner curlers with 2 years or less experience. Some on-ice help will be provided the first few weeks of the league.

Curlers are encouraged to register for a Learn-to-Curl Clinic prior to the first week of the league. Equipment (grippers, sliders, and brooms) is provided. Please bring a pair of CLEAN SHOES to wear on the ice.

This is a 6-end league for beginner curlers with 2 years or less experience. Some on-ice help will be provided the first few weeks of the league.

This is a social 8-end 50+ league open to all abilities. Register for a Full Season (October to March) or Half Season (October to December). All curlers register as individuals and will be placed on a team by the League Coordinator. Once registration is complete, the 50+ League Coordinator will be in touch with more information.

This is a 6-end open social league for all abilities. Any gender combination of 4 players is welcome.

This is a 8-end open competitive league for experienced curlers. Any gender combination of 4 players is welcome. Broom head / sweeping equipment rules apply in this league.

This is an open format 8-end 50+ league where curlers register as a team.

Once registration is complete, the 50+ League Coordinator will be in touch with more information.

This is a Sturling Doubles League. Sturling is a doubles format where each player stays at their own end of the sheet for the entire game, alternating between skipping and delivering stones. Games are 8 ends, each team delivers 6 rocks per end. Games take about 1 hour to play.

Curlers may register as a team. Single Player registrations we will try to assist in finding you a partner.

This league is available for a Half Season (October to December) to start.

This is a social 6-end ladies league for all abilities.

This is a 8-end competitive men's league for experienced curlers.

This is a social 8-end 50+ league open to all abilities. Register for a Full Season (October to March) or Half Season (October to December). This is an open, social, easy going 8-end league for novice and intermediate curlers. Any gender combination of 4 players is welcome.

On-ice help, instruction, or equipment is not provided. This league is a great option for teams who have curled a few years in Monday or Friday open leagues.

This league has an option to register for Half the season (October to December).

This is a 8-end competitive men's league for experienced curlers.

This is an open social 6-end league for all abilities. Curlers who have played a few seasons in Monday Beach Fire Brewing are encouraged to try out this league.

This is a social 8-end open league that welcomes all abilities. Draw times alternate between 10:00am and 12:30pm.

The Sunday Social League Coordinator will be in contact with all teams prior to the start of the season.

This is a new 6-end open social league for all abilities. The league will run two 10-week sessions. First session October to December, and second session January to March. A fun way to try something new, wrap up the weekend with friends, and share some laughs on those long dark winter days.
